


Our Story
FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR TABLE
ʻUla ʻUla Cafe began as a natural extension of Waiheʻe Valley Plantation.
What started as a working farm rooted in mālama ʻāina and local agriculture grew into a place where people wanted to slow down, explore the land, and share a good meal. The food truck was created to bring the farm’s story directly to the plate.
Everything we serve is inspired by what grows here and what Maui does best. Simple food. Fresh ingredients. Honest flavors. No shortcuts.
ʻUla ʻUla means red, a nod to the richness of the soil, the fruit of the land, and the energy that comes from growing and sharing food together. The cafe is our way of welcoming people in and feeding them well after time spent in the valley.

Handhelds
Baja Tacos
Beer-battered opaka tucked into warm corn tortillas with crisp romaine, fresh papaya salsa, lilikoi dijon, and cilantro. Served with fries.
Kalua Pork Tacos
Shredded kalua pork layered with crisp romaine, fresh tomato, pickled onions, shredded blend cheese, and Thai chili aioli. Served with fries.
Ula Burger
Australian wagyu and Maui cattle blend layered with homemade bread and butter pickles, lemon peel pickled onions, bacon jam, and melted yellow and white American cheese. Served with fries.
Plates
Fried Rice
Farm-fresh veggie fried rice tossed with tamari, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, topped with two over-easy eggs. Add kalua pork, kimchi, or tofu for $3.
Coconut Shrimp
Five sweet coconut-battered butterfly shrimp fried golden and crispy, served with white rice, mac salad, and house-made sweet Thai chili sauce.
Garlic Shrimp
Half-pound shell-on shrimp sautéed in butter, garlic, fresh garlic, and white wine sauce, served over rice with mac salad on the side.
Specialties
Crusted Catch
Mac nut-crusted fresh catch grilled to perfection over farm green spring mix with tomatoes, cucumbers, house lemon-pickled cucumbers, seasonal dressing, and house-made pesto drizzled over the fish.
Ula Dawg
A hot dog on a fresh-baked SNJ hoagie roll topped with pickled onions, house relish, house bread and butter pickles, lilikoi dijon, and cilantro.
Taro Burger
Taro burger on a sweet roll with crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and house-made garlic aioli for a hearty vegetarian option.
